Sunday School

The Sunday School provides Christian Education for children in Pre-K through Grade 8th grade. Dedicated volunteers from our congregation use The Whole People of God curriculum to help our children understand the Gospel story and grow to be witnesses to the love and grace of God through Jesus Christ.

All classes first gather in the lounge for an opening object lesson and then split into smaller grade level groups for age appropriate lessons and activities. Class is closed each week in prayer.

In addition to exploring the Bible through the weekly lectionary readings and lessons, we show God's love by reaching out to our community through service projects. This past year the Sunday School has made baked good baskets for shut ins, made and handout Thanksgiving cards, assembled and donated toiletry gift bags, as well as donations for the food bank. We continue to develop church family bonds through activities such as sharing food, making Christmas decorations, Easter Egg hunt, and recreational activities such as bowling. The Sunday School class also participates in the Sunday morning church service monthly.
